With the Skype web plug-in, you could make calls to landlines and mobile devices using your Skype contacts in Skype online, Outlook.com, Office 365, and any Skype application in a web browser. However, the plug-in remains available and can be installed if your browser isn't supported or if you use an older version of a supported browser.

You can use Outlook for Microsoft 365 for Mac, to schedule an online meeting using either Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams, depending on what's supported in your organization. If you're using Skype for Business Online, you can set up new meetings using the Skype for Business Web Scheduler.

To schedule an online meeting in Outlook for Mac, switch to Calendar view.

1. Select Meeting.

2. Add online meeting information by selecting Teams Meeting or Skype Meeting.
   Which is available depends on your organization. If your organization uses Skype for Business, see install Skype for Business. If your organization uses Microsoft Teams, the add-in will be installed automatically.
   

3. Add invitees to the To field. You can invite entire contact groups (formerly known as distribution lists). Add your meeting subject, location, start time, and end time.

4. Choose Send.

You can also invite people from outside your organization from Outlook. Just be sure to add them as guests before the meeting starts or they will have to join anonymously.
